Given equation 3(4d+1)-9d = 6(2-d)

12d+3-9d = 12-6d

3d+3 = 12-6d

Add 6d to each side.

3d+3+6d = 12-6d+6d

9d+3 = 12

Subtract 3 from each side.

9d+3-3 = 12-3

9d = 9

Divide to each side by 9.

9d/9 = 9/9

Solution d = 1
