The polynomial 2x 2y 4 - 6xy + 6xy 3

Polynomials in two variables are algebraic expressions consisting of terms in the form ax ny m.

The degree of each term in a polynomial in two variables is the sum of exponents in each term,

And the degree of polynomial is the largest such sum.

Degree of 2x 2y 4 = 6, degree of -6xy  = 2 , degree of 6xy 3 = 4.

2x 2y 4 - 6xy + 6xy 3 degree = 6.
