The points are (- 6, - 4) and (- 1, 9)

Distance = sqrt ((x₂ - x₁)2 + (y₂ - y₁)2)

= sqrt ((- 1 + 6)2 + (9 + 4)2)

= sqrt ((5)2 + (13)2)

= sqrt (25 +169)

= sqrt (194)

= 13.92 units.

Distance between the given two points is 13.92 units.
