Given points say(x1,y1) = (2,-1)

(x2,y2) = (-4,-6)

Distance beween two points √[(x2-x1)^2+(y2-y1)]

= √[(-4-2)^2+(-6+1)^2

= √(36+25)

= √61.

Distance between given points is √61.
