A) The expression is -7 - (-8).

To subtract -8  from -7, add the opposite of -8 to -7.

Opposite of -8 is 8.

= -7 + 8

= 1

The difference is 1.

B) The expression is image.

To subtract fractions the denominators must be equal. So take LCM of 4 and 3 ie., 12.

To find LCM prime factorization mathod can be used.

Write the prime factorization of each number.

4= 2*2 = 22

3=1*3= 11*31

Multiply highest power of  each factor in the either number.

L.C.M =22*31

             = 12

L.C.M of 3 and 4 is 12
