a) the letter H is chosen 


the answer is 0.6 


I want to know how to get that answer 

b) both vowels are chosen

The word is HEART.

a) Number of ways that the one letter H from 3 letters without replacement is image.

Number of ways that the letter H is chosen from all the letters without replacement is image.

Probality of selecting letter H is image.

 

b) Vowels in the word HEART are E and A.

Probality of choosing both vowels is image=0.4
