1. Is it ok to say the frequency of 1 Hz is equal to one revolution per second?

2. An object is travelling at a velocity of 20m/s west, If it is to slow down, in which direction is the acceleration? my answer is... East. correct?

Yes 1 Hz =1 revolution/sec

yes accelration is in east
