The function y = sinx/x2

Differentiating on each side with respect to x.

Apply quotient rule in derivatives d/dx(u/v) = [vu' - uv']/v2

u = sinx, v = x2

u' = cosx, v' = 2x

y' = [(x2)(cosx) - (sinx)(2x)]/(x2)2

y' = (x2cosx - 2x sinx)/x4

y' = x(x cosx - 2 sinx)/x4

y' = (x cosx - 2 sinx)/x3.
