The slope of the line m = -2

The point = (3,-8)

The Line Equation with slope m and passes through the point (x1, y1) is

(y - y1) = m(x - x1)

(y - (-8)) = (-2)(x -3)

y+8 = -2x + 6

2x + y + 2 = 0

Therefore Line equation passing through the point (3, -8) and slope -2 is 2x + y + 2 = 0.
