Find the area of the region between the curve and the horizontal axis.

Under the curve y = 5 - x^2 and above the x-axis.

The function y = 5 - x2  and x axis is y = 0

Equate the y forms.

5 - x2  = 0

5 = x2

x = ± √5

The limits are a = -√5 and b = -√5.
