44x - 3 = 67

Take logarithm to each side

log44x - 3 = log67

Recall : Logarithm formula logax = x loga

(4x -3)log4 = log67

(4x - 3)2log2 = 1.8261

(4x - 3)(2)(0.3010) = 1.8261

4x - 3 = 1.8261 / 0.6020

4x - 3 = 3.03334

4x = 6.03334

x = 1.508335 (Approximately).
