 Step 1:

(1)

Probability is a measure of how likely an events is to occur.

(a)

A certain event has probability of 1.

Probability of an certain event which occurs all the time is 1.

(b)

A event that is unlikely has probabilty nearly 0.25.

Probability of  event will happen more often than not is 0.25.

(c)

A impossible event has probability of 0.

Probability of an impossible event is 0.

(d)

A event that is likely has probabilty nearly 0.75.

Probability of  event is likely and will occur occasionally is 0.60.

Match:

(a) → 1

(b) → 0.25

(c) → 0

(d) → 0.60

Solution :

(a) → 1

(b) → 0.25

(c) → 0

(d) → 0.60
