Pressumed that y = 2x + 4 and 2y - 2x = 4 are two given lines

y = 2x + 4

This is a line form y = mx + c then the slope of a line is m

Therefore the above line slope : m = 2 ----(1)

2y - 2x = 4

Add 2x to each side

2y = 4 + 2x

Divide each side by 2

y = x + 2

The slope of the line is m = 1----(2)

From (1) & (2) The slopes are not equal then

These lines are not parralel.
