1) oxalic acid is slowly decomposed by concentrate sulfuric acid: H2C2O4--> H2O+CO+CO2. The reaction is much slower with dilute H2SO4, but not entirely negligible over long periods of time. If acidified oxalic de solution is allowed to stand for hours before titration, what error (+, -, 0) is introduced:

a) in the volume of the permanganate solution required for the titration?

b) in the normality of the permanganate solution?

c) in the % oxalate in the unknown?

d) in the precision of the titration of the unknown?
