Given equations are 14x - 2y = 78 and 2x - 2y -6 = 0

We have solve the equations in substitution form, so take the second equation as 2x = 2y + 6 -> (1)

Substitute (1) in the equation 14x -2y -78 = 0

                                                => 7(2x) -2y -78 = 0

                                                => 7(2y + 6) -2y -78 = 0

                                                => 14y + 42 -2y -78 = 0

                                                => 12y -36 = 0

                                                => 12y = 36

                                                => y = 36/12 = 3

Now substitute y value in (1) we get,

                                                              2x = 2(3) +6

                                                          => x = 12/2 =6

Therefore by using substitute form the values of x, y are 6, 3 respectively.
