The expression

[ x √y  +  y √x ] / √(xy)   =   [ x √y  +  y √x ] / ( √x X y )

                                     =   [ (x √y) / ( √x X y) ] +  [ (y √x) / ( √x X y) ]

                                     =   [ x  / √x ] +  [ y / y ]

                                     =   [ x  / (x)^1/2 ] +  [ y / (y)^1/2 ]

                                     =   [ x^(1 - 1/2) ] +  [ y^(1 - 1/2) ]

[ x √y  +  y √x ] / √(xy)   =   x^1/2  +  y^1/2

Answer :

[ x √y  +  y √x ] / √(xy)   =   x^1/2  +  y^1/2
