Is (√(x+2))/(x^(2)+4) a rational expression?

I have to write a five paragraph paper on this.  Why or why not is this rational? Why is it easy to miss this?

An expression that is ratio between two polynomials is called rational expression.

A polynomial doesn't have squre root.a polynomial coefficients powers have only with integers.

Given expression  is having squre root and the variablex is underthe radical.

it is not a rational expression.
