The equation is | 2+ 9 | + 7   =  3

First rewrite the above equation in the form |ax+b| = c where ≥0

and it is equivalent to the statement  ax+b = c or ax+b = - c.

Subtract 7 from each side.

 | 2+ 9 | + 7 - 7   =  3 - 7

 | 2+ 9 |   =  - 4

The absolute value of a number is never negative. So, there are no solutions.

Answer :

No solutions.
