Actual price of Lamp = $120

Discount is 20%

120*20/100 = 24

Tax 6%

120*6/100 = 7.12

Final price of the lamp is = Original price - discount price + sales price

120 -24 + 7.12 = $103.14

Actual price of Lamp = $120

Discount is 20%

Discount = List price * Discount rate

= 120 (20/100)

= 24

Discount price = $120 - $24 = $96

There is also tax to be paid.

Tax 6%

96(6/100) = 5.76

Final price = Total price

= $96 + $5.76

Final price = $101.76
