Given polynomial is 9x^2+24x+16

= 9x^2+12x+12x+16

= 3x(3x+4)+4(3x+4)

Common out 3x+4 from above expression.

= (3x+4)(3x+4)

Factoring of 9x^2+24x+16 is (3x+4)^2.
