6a-3(3a-4) = 30

 6a-9a+12 = 30

-3a+12 = 30

Subract 12 from each siide.

-3a+12-12 = 30-12

-3a = 18

Divide to each side by negitive 3.

-3a/-3 = 18/-3

Soluion a = -18/3.
