Given equaion y = -4x+3

Slope of the given equation say m1 =-4.

We know that parallel lines have equal slope.

parallel line slope say m2 = -4.

Line equation through the point is y-y1 = m(x-x1)

Given point (x1,y1) = (-3,-5)

y+5 = -4(x+3)

y+5 = -4x-12

Subtract 5 from each side.

y+5-5 = -4x-12-5

Requred llne equation is y = -4x-17.
