The system of equations are y = - 4x + 3 and 3y = - 12x + 9.

Write each line equation in slope-intercept form or y = mx + c, where m = slope and c = y-intercept.

The equation 1 : y = - 4x + 3 is already adjusted in slope-intercept form.

Slope m = - 4 and y-intercept c = 3.

Write equation 2 : 3y = - 12x + 9 in slope-intercept form.

Divide each side by 3.

(3y)/3 = (- 12x)/3 + 9/3

y = - 4x + 3

Slope m = - 4 and y-intercept c = 3.

Because the lines have the same slope and the same y-intercept, the system has infinitely many solutions.
