 Solve the problem to find the value of z?

The expression is 6(z+2)=5z

Distribute terms using distributive property: a(b + c) = ab + ac.

Distribute 6.

6z + 12 = 5z

SUbtract 5z from each side

z + 12 = 0

Subtract 12 form each side

z = -12
