Solve tan x cot x - 1 = 1 - sec x cos x.?

 tan x cot x - 1 = 1 - sec x cos x

Recall Rciprocal trigonometric functions:cotθ=1/tanθ and secθ=1/cosθ

tanx*(1/tanx)-1=1-(1/cosx)(cosx)

Cancel common terms

1-1=1-1

0=0

LHS=RHS

Therefore given equation is true
