A) Length of the rectangle be L = 12m.

Width of the rectangle be W = 8.4m.

Perimeter of a rectangle is 2L + 2W.

P = 2(12) + 2(8.4)

= 24 + 16.8

= 40.8 m

Therefore perimeter of the rectangle is 40.8 meters.

B) Length of the rectangle be L = 12m.

Width of the rectangle be W = 8.4m.

Area of a rectangle A is L · W.

A = 12 · 8.4

= 100.8 m^2

Therefore area of the rectangle is 100.8 squaremeters.
