Slope intercept form line equation is y = mx + b, m is slope and b is y-intercept.
Slope of the line = 1/3
the lines are parallel so slopes are same.
The line equation is y=1/3x+b
find the y-intercept by replacing (x, y) with (5, 3) in the line equation.
3 = 1/3 * 5 + b
3 =5/3 + b
b = 3 - 5/3 =( 9-5)/3 = 4/3
the line equation is y = 1/3x + 4/3
