The force is 460 kN.

Stress = 32 MPa

Stress is given as

Stress = Force / area.

Area of the square aluminum bar is A²

32 Mpa = 460 kN/ A² .

A² = 460,000/ 32

A² = 14,375

A = 119.89 mm

Therefore dimension of the aluminum bar for which stress doesnt exceed 32MPa is 119.89 mm.
