19. 3/x+4=5/2x

Given equation 3/x+4=5/2x

 multiply each side x

 3x / x +4x = 5x / 2x

      3 + 4x =5 /2

Subtract 3 from each side

 3+4x-3 =5/2 -3

        4x =(5 - 6)/2

       4x = -1 / 2

 divide  each side  by  4

    4x / 4 =-1/2*4

         x =-1/8

14) The equation is -9x + 6 + 4x = -13 + 14x.

-5x + 6 = -13 + 14x

Add 5 to each side.

-5x + 6 + 5x = -13 + 14x + 5x

 6 = -13 + 19x

Add 13 to each side.

 6 + 13 = -13 + 19x + 13

19 = 19x

Divide each side by 19.

1 = x

The solution is x = 1.
