Standerd equation to the slope intercept form is y = mx+b

question 1) point (x1, y1) = (2, f) and m = 3/8

y-y1 = m(x-x1)

y-f = 3/8(x- 2)

y-f = 3x/8 -(3/4)

y-f = 3x/8 -3/4

y = (3/8)x -3/4+f

question 2) point (x1,y1) = (-7,3) and m = -3/2

y-y1 = m(x-x1)

y-3 = -3/2(x-(-7))

y-3 = -3/2(x+7)

y-3 = (-3/2)x -21/2

y = (-3/2)x -21/2+3

y = (-3/2)x -15/3
