x^2+18 = 9x

Subtract 9x from each side.

x^2+18-9x = 9x-9x

x^2-9x+18 = 0

x^2-6x-3x+18 = 0

x(x-6)-3(x-6) = 0

Take common out (x-6).

(x-6)(x-3) = 0

Factoring of x^2+18 = 9x is (x-6),(x-3).

Therefore, the factor form of x^2 - 9x + 18 = 0 is (x - 6)(x - 3) = 0.
