Slope intercept form of a line y = mx+c.

Given line y = 2x+2

Slope of above line = 2.

We know that parallel lines are equal slope.

parallel line passes through (3,2).

(x1,y1)= (3,2)

line equation is y-y1 = m(x-x1)

y-2 = 2(x-3).

y-2 = 2x-6

Add 2 to each side.

y = 2x-4

Required line eqution y = 2x-4.
