Given terms

a14=-33,a15 = 9

Calculate the common ration, = a15-a14 =9-(-33) =42

a14 =a+13d,a15=a+14d

a+13d =-33

a+13(42)=-33

a = -579

Calculate the n th term.

an =a+(n-1)d

     =-579+(n-1)(42)

     = -579+42n-42

     =-621+42n

Therefore, the nth term is -621+42n
