Time taken for cutting stroke = 8 min

Find the cutting speed by using the formula:

v = length of the stroke in m / Time taken for cutting stroke

  = 0.12 / 8

  = 0.015 m/min

 = 2.5×10-4 m/sec

Calculate the power:

P = Fv

  =  750(2.5×10-4

   = 0.1875 W
