(1)

Given point ( x1 , y1 ) = ( 1 , 9 )

Given slope m = 2

Formula for Slope point form : ( y - y1 ) = m ( x - x1 )

Substitute x1 = 1 , y1 =  9 and m = 2

( y - 9 ) = 2 ( x - 1 )

y - 9 = 2x - 2

2x - 2 - y + 9 = 0

2x - y + 7 = 0

(3)

Given point ( x1 , y1 ) = ( -4 , -5 )

Given slope image

Formula for Slope point form : ( y - y1 ) = m ( x - x1 )

Substitute x1 = -4 , y1 =  -5 and image

( y - (-5) ) = image ( x - (-4) )

4 ( y + 5 ) = 3 ( x + 4 )

4y + 20 = 3x + 12

3x +12 - 4y -20 = 0

3x - 4y -8 = 0

Solution :

3x - 4y -8 = 0

Given points

( x1 , y1 ) = ( 4 , -4 )

( x2 , y₂ ) = ( 8 , -10 )

Slope image

Substitute x1 = 4 , y1 -4 , x2 = 8 , y2 = -10

Formula for Slope point form : ( y - y1 ) = m ( x - x1 )

Substitute x1 = 4 , y1 =  -4 and image

( y - (-4) ) = image ( x - 4 )

2 ( y + 4 ) = ( - 3 )( x - 4 )

2y + 8 = -3x + 12

3x - 12 + 2y + 8 = 0

3x + 2y - 4 = 0

Solution :

3x + 2y - 4 = 0
