Conversion, = 12.6×1011 dyne/cm 2

Convert the units from CGS to MKS

1 Newton = 10 5 dynes

1 dyne =10 -5 N

1 cm = 10 -2 m

= (12.6×1011)(10 -5 / 10 -2)  N/m 2

     =12.6×108  N/m 2

The conversion in MKS units is 12.6×108  N/m 2
