x^1/3-8 = 3

Add 8 to each side.

x^1/3-8+8 = 3+8

x^1/3 = 11

Apply cube to each side.

(x^1/3)3 = (11)3

(a^m)^n = a^mn

x^1/3*3 = 1331

x = 1331
