Supplement angle two angles whose sum add to 180 and

Complement angle is two angles whose measures add to 90.

Let required angle = x

Supplement angle is 180-x

Complementry angle is 90-x

From the given problem supplement of an angle is 60 less than 3 times the mesure of the complement.

3(90-x)-60 = 180-x

270-3x-60 = 180-x

210-3x = 180-x

Add 3x to each side and subtract 180 from each side.

210-180-3x+3x = 180-180-x+3x

30 = 2x

Divide to each side by 2.

x = 15

Required angle = 15

Suplement angle = 180-15 = 165

Complement angle = 90-15= 75
