Given equation 3x+8 = 2(15-x)+3

3x+8 = 30-2x+3

Add 2x to each side.

3x+2x+8 = 30-2x+2x+3

5x+8 = 33

Subtract 8 from each side.

5x+8-8 = 33-8

5x = 25

Divide to each side by 5.

5x/5 = 25/5

Solution x = 5
