Given equation x-3y = -15

Substitute the value x = -3 in above equation.

-3-3y = -15

Add 3 to each side.

-3+3-3y = -15+3

-3y = -12

Divide to each side by negitive 3.

-3y/-3 = -12/-3

y = 4
