Need to know how to solve for x and y intercepts of x/3 - y/8 = 1.

Given line equation x/3-y/8 = 1

Line equation with intercepts x/a+y/b = 1

where a,b are intercepts of x,y.

x/3+(y/-8) = 1

x-intercept is 3 and y-intercept is -8.
