Let if an orbiting satellite has a diametre of 60 cm , what is the total surface area ?

Assuming that the satellite is a sphere.

satellite diametre ( d ) = 60 cm.

satellite radius  ( r ) = d / 2 = 60 / 2 = 30 cm.

satellite radius ( r )  = 30 cm.

The total surface area = 4 π r 2

= 4 * ( 22 / 7 ) * ( 30 ) 2

= ( 88 * 900 ) / 7

= 11314.28 sq.cm

The total surface area = 11314.28 sq.cm
