Elimination method

Given first equation 3m-7n = -43

Multiple to each side by negitive 2.

-6m+14n = 86 ---> (1)

Second equation 6m+5n = -10 ---> (2)

To eliminate the m value add the equations (1)&(2).

-6m+14n = 86

6m+5n = -10

__________________

19n = 76

Divide to each side by 19.

n = 4

Substitute the n value in (2).

6m+20 = -10

Subtract 20 from each side.

6m = -30

Divide to each side by 6.

m = -5

Solution m = -5,n = 4.
