The inquality is x - 18/2 > 6.

Wtite the inequality as x - 9 > 6.

Add 9 to each side.

x - 9 + 9 > 6 + 9

x > 15.

Solution set of the inquality is {x | x > 15}.

Graph the solution set on a number line.

 

Note : A circle means that this point is not included in the sollution set.
