Say the points are

A(x1, y1) = (4, 5)

B(x2, y2) = (8, 5)

Slope (m) = (y2 - y1) / (x2 - x1)

m = (5 - 5) / (8 - 4)

m = 0/4

m = 0.

Slope of the line AB is 0.

Say the points are

C(x1, y1) = (4, 3)

D(x2, y2) = (5, - 1)

Slope (m) = (- 1 - 3) / (5 - 4)

m = - 4/1

m = - 4.

Slope of the line CD is - 4.

Say the points are

E(x1, y1) = (5, - 7)

F(x2, y2) = (- 1, - 2)

Slope (m) = (- 2 + 7) / (- 1 - 5)

m = 5/- 6

m = - 5/6.

Slope of the line EF is - 5/6.
