Say the points are

(x1, y1) = (4, - 4)

(x2, y2) = (7, - 8)

Slope(m) = (y2 - y1) / (x2 - x1)

m = (- 8 + 4) / (7 - 4)

m = - 4/3.

Slope of the line is - 4/3.
