Let the points are

(x₁, y₁) = (4, 8)

(x₂, y₂) = (6, 12)

Slope formula : m = (y₂ - y₁/x₂ - x₁).

Substitute the values (x₁, y₁) = (4, 8) and (x₂, y₂) = (6, 12) in the slope formula.

m = (12 - 8)/(6 - 4)

m = 4/2

m = 2.

Therefore, slope of a line(m) through the two points (4, 8) and (6, 12) is 2.
