The line is passing through points ( 10,5 ) and ( x,9 )

Slope (m) = -2

Slope of the line passing through the points (x₁- y₁), (x₂ - y₂) is m =( y₂ -y₁) / (x₂ - x₁)

-2 = (9 -5) / ( x -10)

-2x + 20 = 4

-2x = 4 -20

-2x = -16

x = 16/2

x = 8

The solution is x = 8

The correct option is B.
