The values are x = 2, y = 3 , z = 4, a = 4/5 and b = 3/5

To find the value of expression, substitute the required value of variables in every expression.

1) 6a + 8b = 6(4/5) + 8(3/5)

                 = 24/5 + 24/5

    6a + 8b = 48/5

2) 23 - ( a + b) = 23 - [ (4/5) + (3/5)]

                       = 23 - (7/5)

                       = (115 - 7)/5

 23 - ( a + b) = 108/5

3) 2xyz + 5 = 2(2)(3)(4) + 5

                  = 48 + 5

   2xyz + 5 = 53

4) (10x)2 + 100a = 100x2 + 100 a

                          = 100(2)2 + 100(4/5)

                          = 400 + 80

    (10x)2 + 100a = 480

5) a2 + 2b = (4/5)2 + 2(3/5)

                = 16/25 + 6/5

                = [ 16 + 6(5) ]/25

                = (16 + 30)/25

a2 + 2b  = 46/25

6) 6xz + 5xy = 6(2)(4) + 5(2)(3)

                    = 48 + 30

   6xz + 5xy = 78.
