1) Recall the basic trigonometric ratios

tan(θ) = Opposite side/adjacent side

tan(30o) = x/7

1/√3 = x/7

x = 7/√3

x = 7/1.732

x = 4.04

x = 4

Option D is correct.

cos(θ) = adjacent side/Hypotenuse

cos(28o) = 11/x

0.8829 = 11/x

x = 11/0.8829

x = 12.4589

x = 12.5

Option A is correct.

sin(20o) = x/18

0.3420 = x/18

x = 0.3420(18)
